Penobscot County Conservation Association Contributes $11,000

PCCA members with campaign manager James Cote.

Sportsmen’s clubs from across the state of Maine continue to step up to fight off the referendum to ban the three most effective methods of bear hunting in Maine.  The Penobscot County Conservation Association has very generously contributed $11,000 to the campaign.  This is PCCA’s second big contribution.  The campaign to Save Maine’s Bear Hunt and Management Programs would like to extend a big Thank You to the Penobscot County Conservation Association and all of its members for their hard work and their generosity!

Sportsmen’s clubs are a big part of our grassroots campaign to protect our outdoor heritage and wildlife conservation programs, so we would also like to recognize all of the clubs that have donated $1,000 or more to the campaign: Black Bear Rod & Gun Club, Durham Rod & Gun Club, Falmouth Rod & Gun Club, Fin and Feather Club, Fryeburg Fish & Game Association, Lamoille Valley Fish & Game Club (VT), Penobscot County Conservation Association, Presque Isle Fish & Game Club, Sullivan County Sportsmen (NH) and York County Fish & Game Association.  Thank you to all of the clubs working with us and keep up the great work!  For more information about ways that you or your club can get involved, send an email to info@savemainesbearhunt.com
